Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)

ICSI, a procedure most commonly utilized to overcome male infertility, is an IVF procedure in which a single sperm is injected directly into an egg in order to achieve fertilization. CACRM has found ICSI to be an extremely effective method in achieving increased rates of fertilization of eggs in the IVF lab after they have been retrieved from the female. Due to its success, Dr. Arnold uses ICSI in all of her IVF patients to maximize the number of eggs to be fertilized in each case.
